Timm’s Outburst(Capitata Domingensis x Ionantha Fuego)

The Tillandsia Timm’s Outburst has leaves of different lengths that end in very fine points, some of which extend outwards and slightly droop down while others remain upright. Some of the plant’s leaves are the usual light green color, while others are a rather pale shade of red. But as this air plant matures, its leaf blades blush into a much more vibrant shade of red. Then, they gradually spread out, even more, to create enough space for deep violet flowers to emerge. This species has an explosion of colors that would surely thrill plant collectors and enthusiasts; it would also make a great statement piece due to its captivating appearance.
