A spectacular, very large growing form of this widely variable species, from Colombia. Yet another divergent form, this one a giant often exceeding 20 inches tall with an inflorescence that can reach 4 feet. The inflorescence has several long branches, is primarily green with red flowers. The leaves are thick, broad at the base and tapering to a point, are leathery and grow in an upright spiraling rosette. The color is a dull green with bright silver banding. Known to be from higher altitudes than typical forms, it is a very slow growing plant. An outstanding and rare plant in cultivation.
